C-Me Exceeds Expectations at ASAP Global Sourcing Show

PASADENA, CA – September 17, 2002 – Cyber Merchants Exchange, (“C-Me”) (OTC-BB: CMEE) announced its successful 2nd ASAP Global Sourcing Show.

“Although it was only our 2nd Show, it was a tremendous success. The attendance increased by over 230%, from 1,500 to 3,500 qualified buyers. The exhibitors increased from 120 to 200, the number of Countries represented increased from 10 to 18 and the transaction volume during the Show approached $50 million dollars,” said Frank S. Yuan, CEO and Chairman of C-Me/ASAP Show. “We are extremely pleased with the buying interests of the attendees, as well as the exposure given to the exhibitors. The investment we made in the initiative has been proven even beyond our optimistic expectations,” said Yuan.

“ASAP’s unique Match Making Sessions demonstrated the compelling value proposition of direct sourcing to the attendees who experienced it,” said Yuan.  It has been satisfying to hear the positive feedback from the participants and buyers.

“Visiting each booth was great; but I really enjoyed observing the factories coming to us at the Match-Making Sessions,” said Albert Zaccai, President of Me Jane. “ASAP’s presence reflects a more uniform global sourcing market-place,” stated Michael Harper, CEO of Jajuan Michael Fashions. “I found plenty of valuable opportunities to source clothing for my lines,” said Mr. Marty Eisner, from Richard Harris men’s suits. “ASAP global sourcing show and match making are something we are going to attend year after year – it’s the future,” expressed Jamie Smith, of Abigail Driscoll Company.

“Bangladesh exhibitors were enormously pleased with the results of the ASAP Show. They have all confirmed their attendance at the February 2003 Show.  I believe the Bangladesh Pavilion will increase by at least 35 exhibitors in the February 2003 Show,” said Haseeb Alam, ASAP’s Bangladesh manager.  “Matter of fact, the vast majority of exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the results they achieved and are all eager to attend the show next February,” said Yuan.

Look for updates on our February 17 – 20, 2003 ASAP Show at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. The ASAP Show will continue its growth pattern and overall importance as the premiere meeting place to globally and efficiently source apparel under one roof.  In addition to the historical Show features ASAP and C-Me are planning several educational seminars and conferences during the Show that will benefit both exhibitors and attendees.
