FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

C-Me Announces Jordan & USA Free-Trade Agreement
Seminar during its ASAP Show on August 27th, 2002

PASADENA, CA – August 13th, 2002, ASAP Global Sourcing Show, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cyber Merchants Exchange ("C-Me") (OTCBB: CMEE), an international B2B Electronic trading company, today announced that Jordan Investment Board (“JIB”) is featuring a seminar during it’s August ASAP Show at the Las Vegas Hilton for the unique investment opportunities in Jordan.

"We are thrilled that JIB has chosen to announce their 4th free-trade agreement (“FTA”) signed by the United States after Israel, Mexico, and Canada,” stated Frank Yuan, Chairman and CEO of C-Me and ASAP. Yuan added, “ASAP global sourcing show will be the perfect venue and timing for a seminar to launch the opportunity of investment in Jordan and to learn more about Jordan and USA free-trade agreements.”

Mrs. Reem Badran, Director General of JIB, stated, “Today Jordan exports $300 million, a 125% increase over the year 1999, of apparel and textiles to major U.S. retail buyers including Target, Wal-Mart, JC Penney, and Kohl’s, as well as brands such as: Victoria’s Secret, Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein, Donna Karen, and Liz Claiborne.”  Badran continues, “FTA includes provisions governing intellectual property rights, E-commerce, visas, anti-dumping, and dispute settlement mechanism.”

John R. Calvert, seminar consultant and President of the Network Apparel Group, stated, “the presentation will be an informative exchange of the knowledge needed to stay abreast of the many challenges and opportunities available in today’s global sourcing environment.  The importance of a balanced sourcing strategy can never be undermined, and certainly with NAFTA, the Caribbean initiatives (CBTPA), and the impact of GATT and WTO in 2005, the timing is right to explore the unique advantages offered by the US and Jordan free -trade agreement.”
