C-ME.com NAMES SERENA KOKJER-GREENING CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

PASADENA, CA -January 18, 2000 - Cyber Merchants Exchange, d.b.a. C-ME.com (OTC-BB: CMEE), a business-to-business service provider to the retail industry today announced it has appointed Serena Kokjer-Greening Chief Operating Officer. As Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Kokjer-Greening will oversee day-to-day operations, participate in long-term strategic planning, and drive development of new system features and services.

Ms. Kokjer-Greening joins Cyber Merchants Exchange, from BoutiqueVillage.com in San Jose where she was a co-founder and vice-president of merchandising. She brings more than 25 years of senior management experience to the Company from positions with domestic and international multi-billion dollar retailers.

Prior to co-founding BoutiqueVillage.com, Ms. Kokjer-Greening held positions as acting vice president of business development at FitWiz.com; vice president, merchandise systems support and education at DFS Group Limited (Duty Free Shoppers); vice president, planning and distribution and merchandise information officer at the Broadway Stores, Inc.; and positions as vice president of both vendor relations and information management at the former Carter Hawley Hale Stores Inc. Previously, she was vice president, general merchandise manager for women's ready-to-wear at Emporium-Capwell.

Ms. Kokjer-Greening was on the executive committee of the board of directors for the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standards, and was the conference co-chairperson for the Industry Quick Response Conference. She also sat on the board of directors for the Weingart Center, a Los Angeles homeless shelter and the USC Commerce Associates in Los Angeles, and was the co-chairperson of the Los Angles Athletic Club board of governors.

Ms. Kokjer-Greening attended Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and has completed additional coursework at the Chamberlain School of Retailing in Boston, University of Southern California, Business School in Los Angeles and MIT's Alfred Sloan School for Information Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
