C-ME.com Appointes James L. Vandeberg Corporate Secretary. PASADENA, CA -January 6, 2000 - Cyber Merchants Exchange, d.b.a. C-ME.com (OTC-BB: CMEE), a business-to-business service provider to the retail industry today announced it has appointed James L. Vandeberg Corporate Secretary. "We're pleased to add James L. Vandeberg to our senior management team," said John F. Busey, president of C-ME.com. "His experience advising both Internet and retail companies on securities, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters, such as IPOs, SEC compliance, and investor relations issues add significant value as we continue to become the global sourcing solution for retailers." Vandeberg brings more than 20 years of corporate counsel and secretary experiences to the Company. Currently, he is a partner of Seattle-based law firm of Vandeberg, Johnson & Gandara. His retail experience includes 14 years as Corporate Counsel and Secretary at the former Carter Hawley Hale Stores, the multi-billion dollar department and specialty holding company which operated under the names: The Broadway, Neiman Marcus, Contempo Casuals, Emporium, Weinstock's, Bergdorf Goodman, Holt Renfrew - Canada, Waldenbooks, John Wanamaker, Thalhimers, and Sunset House. In addition, Vandeberg serves on the board of directors for Information Highway.com, Inc. (OTC:BB IHWY), IAS Communications, Inc. (OTC:BB IASCA), and REGI US, Inc. (OTC:BB RGUS). He received his B.S. in accounting from the University of Washington and his J.D. from New York University.
